Before this release, my tunes tend to be about space or night, so they remind us of dark situations.

But this album will give you bright impressions, the sun, sea, and summer are this time's theme!

My first discovery of Latin music was Bossa Nova, when I was a high school student.

(I'm surprised that it was about 20 years ago!)

In my college years, I started modern jazz, I knew Latin music more deeply and widely, because in many masterpieces of jazz recordings,

Its elements appear a lot, so I was naturally interested in it and listened to many recordings.

I think Latin American music is one of the greatest cultures in the world.

It's perfect for melody, rhythm, and harmony, and its unique elegance and pathos always attracts me so much.

It was my great honor to try such wonderful Latin tunes.

I was also conscious of making easy listening tunes, so I hope many listeners will have fun with Naomi Cafe Summer!

今までは宇宙や夜などの暗いシチュエーションを思わせる曲が多かったのですが、今回は太陽、海、夏がテーマの明るい印象のアルバムです！

私のラテン音楽との最初の出会いは高校生の時のボサノヴァでした。（20年近く前のことで驚いています！）

大学時代にはモダンジャズを始めたので、ラテン音楽をより深く広く知るようになりました。

多くのジャズの名盤でラテン音楽の要素が取り入れられていたので、自然と興味を持ち、たくさんの音源を聴くようになったからです。

ラテンアメリカの音楽は世界で最も優れた文化の一つだと思います。メロディ、リズム、ハーモニーのどれも素晴らしく、独特の優雅さと哀愁は私を惹きつけてやみません。

ラテン音楽に挑戦出来て光栄に思っています。また、イージーリスニング風に聴けるものを意識して作ったので、多くのリスナーさんにNaomi Cafe Summerをお楽しみいただければ幸いです。
